About Falcon Camp:
Falcon Camp features story time, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, nature walks, outside water activities, and more. This is an ideal opportunity for your young child to play constructively, learn cooperatively, and make friends. This camp is offered as a half day or full day option. Children must be potty trained to participate. Children should wear bathing suits daily under their clothing for water play. 

Kinder Camp

Cost: $275 (half-day) or $425 (full day)

About Summer Fun Camp:
Boys and girls will build on their abilities and enhance their enjoyment of recreation with games and exercises at the Holy Child gym and all-weather field. Children will learn teamwork, leadership skills, and the rules of play, and build athleticism and self-esteem throughout this high-energy, low-pressure camp. Please pack sunscreen and water bottles for the weather conditions outdoors. 

Literacy Camp
Grades: Rising Kindergarteners through rising 4th graders
Dates: Sessions 7 & 9
Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

About Literacy Camp:
This is a summer ‘skills refresher’ camp designed to give students a reboot to refresh their literacy skills. Current Holy Child teachers will be implementing interactive and hands-on activities to make learning fun and engaging during summertime. Students can look forward to a Literature Olympics and Publishing Party to end the week! Spots will be limited so register early!

Math Camp
Grades: Rising Kindergarteners through rising 4th graders

About Math Camp:
Campers will spend a week engaging in a variety of age-specific math activities designed to freshen up their skills and help prepare them for the upcoming school year. Each week's activities will promote the exploration of mathematical principles and strategies through hands-on experiences. Campers will be encouraged to use higher order thinking and logical reasoning skills as they collaborate with one another to solve different challenges. Students can look forward to a Math Olympics and a Probability Fair at the end of the week!

Emotions Explorers

Grades: Rising Kindergarten to 4th graders

About Emotions Explorers Camp:
Get ready to explore the world of emotions! Inspired by Disney’s Inside Out and Inside Out 2, this engaging camp is designed for rising K-4 students to explore the feelings that make us who we are.

Each day, we’ll dive into a different emotion—like Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Anxiety—through fun, creative activities. Campers will learn:

• How emotions show up in the body
• Why all feelings are important
• Practical strategies to manage big feelings

Through games, art, storytelling, and interactive activities, campers will build emotional awareness, resilience, and tools for self-expression—all in a supportive and safe environment.

Join us for a week of self-discovery and fun as we work together to broaden our emotional toolkits!

Theater Camp
Grades: Rising 4th through 8th graders

About Theater Camp:
Join us for a fun and fast-paced musical theater camp designed for rising 4th–8th grade students. Throughout the week, campers will explore acting, singing, and movement while building confidence and teamwork. Together, they’ll rehearse a fully staged 30-minute musical in a supportive, creative environment. The week wraps up with an exciting performance of The Lion King KIDS for family and friends where every camper gets a moment to shine.

Science Camp
Ages: Rising 1st through 6th 
Dates: Sessions 2 and 3
Time: 9 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Cost: $375
Teachers: Holy Child science teachers Tracy Gabor (1st-3rd) and Leigh Roselli (4th-6th)

Session 2 Theme: Simple Machines 
A hands-on STEM camp where young learners discover how simple machines make work easier through building, experimenting, and play. Students will explore the six types of simple machines (lever, pulley, wheel and axle, inclined plane, wedge, and screw) through creative projects and activities that combine engineering with fun.

Session 3 Theme: Mad Scientist
Young mad scientists  will transform into wild-haired inventors conducting outrageous experiments with bubbling potions, fizzing reactions, slimy creations, and colorful explosions (all safe, of course!).  Expect wild hair, lots of "WHOA!" moments, and plenty of giggles as we prove that science is seriously fun!

Field Hockey Camp (June)

Ages: Rising 1st through 4th graders. Offered exclusively to Holy Child students.
Dates: Session 3

About Field Hockey Camp for Rising 1st through 4th graders:
"Little Falcons” Field Hockey camp will be a fun-filled week centered around building fundamentals for growing field hockey players. Drills and scrimmages will have an emphasis on progressing stick skills as well as foundational passes like push passes and drives.

Campers will need to provide personal equipment and appropriate footwear.  This includes: shin guards, mouth guards, a stick, cleats or turfs (preferably but sneakers will work they just provide less traction), and a full water bottle. 

Strategies for Success
Grades: Rising 5th through 6th graders
Dates: Session 9
Times: 12 - 3p.m.

About Strategies for Success:
Strategies for Success will focus on developing and strengthening skills needed for Middle School like organization, planning, task completion, and study techniques. With instruction by Mrs. Mollie Miller, students will foster independence and resilience with these executive functions in a supportive and nurturing environment. These tools are important for students to apply academically and in their personal lives! Students will walk away with a better understanding of themselves, time management, and the expectations for Middle School.  

Placement Prep & Practice
Grades: Rising 7th and 8th graders
Dates: Session 3
Time: 12 - 3p.m.

About Placement Prep and Practice:
The High School Placement Test (HSPT)* and Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE)** are a required part of the high school application process. This camp is designed to introduce students to the content, style of questions, and timing of the test, as well as provide ample practice opportunities to help strengthen their scores. The camp will be split into verbal practice and math practice, including essay writing.

* HSPT is for students applying to Catholic high schools. It is not accepted by non-Catholic schools.
** ISEE is for students applying to independent schools, but is also accepted by Catholic schools.

Sports & Games Camp
Grades: Rising Kindergarten through 4th graders
Dates: Sessions 7 & 8

About Sports & Games Camp:
To complement an academic morning at Literacy Camp (Session 7) or Math Camp (Session 8), campers are invited to participate in Sports & Games Camp, centered around team building and fun. Led by Derek Moorehead, students will get to sample and play a wide variety of traditional team sports and recess/camp games. Games will include, but are not limited to, flag football, soccer, basketball, floor hockey, dodgeball, kickball, and capture the flag. This is meant to be a fun and semi-competitive camp, not a skill development program.

Please note that Sports & Games Camp is open for registration to all students, even if they are not participating in Math Camp or Literacy Camp! 

Afternoon Innovators
Grades: Rising Kindergarteners through rising 4th graders

About Afternoon Innovators:
To complement an academic morning at Literacy Camp (Session 9), campers are invited to participate in an afternoon of thematic STEAM fun! We will be providing campers with interactive and engaging science and art activities to round out their camp day. Camp time will be split into two parts: science exploration and complementary crafts with a snack/recess break in between.

Please note that Afternoon Innovators is open for registration to all students, even if they are not participating in Literacy Camp! 
 

Field Hockey Camp

Ages: Rising 4th through 8th graders

About Field Hockey Camp:
Holy Child School at Rosemont's Field Hockey Camp provides both a tune-up and an introduction to the fall season. The drills and scrimmages are designed for both novices and experienced players alike. Children will need to provide personal equipment and appropriate footwear. Counselors: Holy Child School at Rosemont Field Hockey Coaches.

Field Hockey players will need to have a field hockey stick, goggles, mouth guard, shin guards, water bottle, and cleats to participate.

Football Camp

Ages: Rising 4th through 8th graders
Dates: Session 9 
Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Location: Algeo Field

About Football Camp:
Holy Child School at Rosemont’s Football Camp features drills that are designed to improve participants’ skills and encourage their development as well-rounded players. The drills and skills are presented in a challenging but pressure-free environment. Children will need to provide personal equipment and appropriate footwear. Counselors: Holy Child School at Rosemont Football coaches.

Football players need to have a water bottle, football cleats, football practice pants, pads for pants, shoulder pads, a helmet, chin strap, mouth guard, a cup, and a rib protector to participate. Holy Child School will provide the game jersey and navy game pants, which must be returned at the end of the season.
