Holy Child Welcomes Policy Fellow from Syrian Emergency Task Force

This year, our grade 7 students have been reading and learning about the situation in Syria. Last week, they welcomed Anna Daley-Gibson, a Policy Fellow for the Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF), to speak about what SETF is doing to address the crisis in Syria. Daley-Gibson and her team are working to address the crisis by supporting a school for orphans in Idlib, as well as doing other humanitarian and political advocacy work. After listening to Anna's presentation, our grade 7 students wrote letters of hope to the students in Idlib.
