Extended Day
Afterschool care for Young Falcons through Grade 4
Monday - Friday, 3:10 - 5 p.m.
Holy Child's Extended Day program provides qualified, supervised afterschool care in a welcoming environment. Students enjoy outdoor play (weather permitting), homework time, and spending time with students across grade levels.
Enrollment is available for the full year, half-year, or by the month. Registration is announced in The Holy Child Herald and billing is processed through Active Registration.
Families with children in Young Falcons and Falcons are also encouraged to explore our Afternoon Care program.

Extended Day Closures & Holidays
Extended Day is not offered on school holidays and half-days, including the following dates for the 2026-2027 academic year:
- Friday, October 30, 2026 (Halloween Parade)
- Friday, December 18, 2026 (Noon dismissal; last day of school before Christmas break)
- Thursday, February 11, 2027 (Last day of school before winter break)
- Thursday, March 18, 2027 (Last day of school before Spring Break)
- Friday, April 30, 2027 (Noon dismissal; Grandparents/Special Friends Day)
- Thursday, May 27, 2027 (Memorial Day Weekend)
- Thursday, June 3, 2027 (Grade 8 Graduation day)
- Wednesday, June 9, 2027 (Noon dismissal; last day of school)

2026-2027 Extended Day Program Rates
For families who are seeking to enroll their child in our Extended Day Program five days per week during the school year, please see below for our rates. Our Admissions team will provide additional information on Extended Day rates for newly enrolled families, especially those seeking fewer than five days per week of care.
