The Auction Gift Form can be used for donations of both live and silent auction items, from both individuals and businesses. No gift is too big or small.
Please consider asking merchants with whom you do business to donate a gift to Holy Child School at Rosemont. Most merchants are often happy to donate a gift or gift certificate to support your organization.
It is a “win-win” situation for our School and the merchant. You are able to help raise funds to build upon your child’s education, and the merchant is able to donate a tax-deductible gift that could bring them new business clients. Our School regularly promotes those merchants who donate to our School and encourages all of our constituents to patronize those establishments that support us so generously.
If you receive a gift from a merchant, complete the front of the form, including the merchant’s name as they wish for it to appear in the Auction; their address; an item description; and the actual cash value of the gift. Note: Some gift certificates are valid for a period of one year. If this is the case, please be sure to ask the merchant to make it valid from April 14, 2018 to April 14, 2019.
Once a gift has been received and recorded, a letter will be mailed to the merchant thanking them for their gift and providing them the information they need to record their deduction. All gifts and gift forms should be delivered to the Advancement Office to the attention of Katie Storrer, Parents’ Liaison. Gifts may also be left at the Parents’ Auxiliary mailbox by Kit Tosti’s desk in the Academic Center.
