Dear Holy Child Community,
We hope you are enjoying a peaceful fall season and are looking forward to a wonderful Thanksgiving break with your families. Our search for a Head of School has ramped up, and we wanted to give you an update on the process and timeline.
First, we would like to thank the Head of School Search Committee for their commitment and for sharing so much of their time and wisdom to assist with this important endeavor. In addition, we extend our thanks to our Board of Trustees for their continued support. As our Head of School search moves into its final stages, we anticipate a very busy and exciting period ahead.
The Search Committee met in early November to review prospective candidate files. After robust evaluation and discussion, we selected five candidates to interview in person. All of the candidates were strong, and we enjoyed hearing about their experience, their vision for Holy Child, and their desire to be our next Head of School.
Following this, the Search Committee identified two outstanding finalist candidates and we have invited each of them to campus for two days of intensive interviews with all the various constituents of our community. We are thrilled to share that both candidates have accepted this invitation and are excited to meet our community in the coming weeks.
- Candidate A will be on campus Monday, December 5 and Tuesday, December 6
- Candidate B will be on campus Monday, December 12 and Tuesday December 13
Please mark your calendar for the following sessions which will provide you with an opportunity to hear from our finalists and also engage in a Q&A session with them. Registration forms to sign-up for these sessions will be distributed next week; see below for details.

We encourage you to participate in the process by welcoming our candidates, taking advantage of an opportunity to learn more about them, and helping to enhance their understanding of and appreciation for Holy Child School at Rosemont.
Please check your email for updates containing information about our timeline over the next three weeks. We will be asking our community members to register for the relevant constituent sessions as noted above. Your feedback and thoughts are critical and after each candidate's visit, our community members will have an opportunity to share feedback with the Search Committee via an online survey. After fully vetting all the feedback from our community, the Search Committee will make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees for a new Head of School to begin in July of 2023.
Reaching this final stage of the search is the result of a thorough and intentional process, and we are excited for our broader community to meet this group of highly talented candidates. Thank you in advance for your engagement and support during this important time in school history.
