We do not have a set deadline for tuition assistance applications. The Tuition Assistance process opens in January with awards being distributed on a rolling basis. Applications for tuition assistance will be reviewed as funds remain available. We do not make general statements about income eligibility because there are several other factors which can impact demonstrated need outside of income. 

Families are asked to complete a tuition assistance application at ClarityApp.com. The application asks for information including, but not limited to, family size, number of children in tuition-charging schools, indebtedness, medical expenses, and unusual expenses as well as income and other assets, such as savings, investments, and home equity. Holy Child considers the Clarity App analysis along with its own institutional discretion in making financial assistance awards.

When calculating a family’s ability to pay, we take into account choices that reflect budgetary priorities. Holy Child School at Rosemont’s Tuition Assistance program operates under the premise that families bear the primary responsibility for financing education to the extent that they are able; thus, we expect families to make choices that indicate that a Holy Child education is considered a fiscal priority in their household, both now and throughout their child’s years at the School. Available funds at any given time are also considered.

The Clarity Application system offers a streamlined and user-friendly process. You will complete a verification step that will allow your 1040 and W2 documents from the previous tax year to be automatically transferred from the IRS, so you will no longer need to upload those documents manually. Please note that other documents may be required depending on family circumstances.

We believe that both parents are responsible for contributing toward the educational costs of their children. Accordingly, both natural parents/guardians are required to complete the tuition assistance application (if living in separate households) and provide required documents. Exceptions are rare. No financial information will be shared by the School with the other parent in the case of separate applications.

All financial information is strictly safeguarded. Only those who are directly responsible for determining need will have access to your information.

Provided your financial situation does not substantially change, you can expect approximately the same level of aid each year. Because tuition assistance decisions are reviewed each year, families receiving aid must submit information via the Clarity App annually, establishing need for the next academic year.
